I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden. -Ruth Stout

Scott

Spring has sprung and, after a year, our Scott is doing very well. Like the flowers and trees greeting the warmth of spring, Scott is thriving in his new home environment. He is looking and feeling much better these days. While the nature of his injury could take some time to fully recover, he is eager to visit with everyone and begin enjoying spring activities. The warm wishes of family and friends help build Scott’s determination on his road to rehabilitation. Thank you all!

Sincere thanks to everyone who has written emails and sent donations to CICF, and for your constant outpouring of support for the Levey family. Scott joins us all in wishing you a very Happy Holiday Season and sends every best wish for a joyous, healthy, and prosperous New Year. He continues to improve and entertains the physio staff daily with his humour and determination to get well.

Onwards and upwards! Due to consistent strong improvement, Scott has moved yet again to a higher level of rehabilitation. His daily routine involves taking part in intense physical retraining designed to strengthen core muscles and promote agility.

While still difficult to predict when a full recovery will occur, recent assessments have indicated much sooner than originally diagnosed.

The letters and other communications from friends and colleagues continue to be key factors in Scott’s encouragement and his drive to return to work.

Please keep up the wonderful support!

July 4

Scott Levey has shown considerable improvement since his accident several weeks ago. The complications surrounding his initial injury have subsided, and he has been transferred from ICU to a step down unit. There, he takes part in daily rehabilitation and progresses towards recovery. Although it is a slow process, Scott’s advances to date point towards a shortened time frame to full recovery.

Scott, his wife Silvana, and the entire Levey family have been touched by the e-cards, e-letters, and donations to CICF sent from friends and colleagues across North America. Your support has provided further encouragement and resolve in Scott’s determination for recovery from his injury.

We thank you for your thoughtfulness and care across the miles as we look forward to sharing additional positive news with you over the next few weeks.

June 7

Scott Levey will be on an indefinite leave of absence from Levey Wallcoverings in order to recover from his accident. We know this news comes as a shock to all of us; however, we will make every effort to keep you updated on the progress of Scott’s recovery when appropriate. Scott will be moved from ICU by the end of this week and will then undergo follow-up treatment.

Please join us in keeping Scott, his wife Silvana, their son Craig and daughter Jen in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If you would like to send a personal message to Scott please choose either the e-card or e-letter format above. We will make sure he gets your well wishes.

Silvana will continue as President and CEO. There are no leadership changes at this time, and no plans to change our business strategy.
